Lisa's Cucina Italian Restaurant

My dinner was awesome! Tonight's server was so kind and genuinely happy to answer a few questions about making my selection- Marion knows every dish inside and out. I was served deliciously fresh garlic knots with butter immediately with my drink order which really hit the spot. My Mussels Marinara entree came with fresh salad- cucumber, carrots, onion, and tomato- choice of soup & a choice of pasta. There were over 2 dozen very fresh large mussels in a perfect abundant sauce with garlic slices and parslry, nice chunks of fresh crushed tomotoes HUGE PLUS for the abundant mildly spicy sauce!! The minestrone was very hot and quite good sized, but since a lot of seniors are on low-salt diet restrictions a dash of salt and pepper are in order - maybe add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. I had especially in mind to come for the Mussels, but the tiramisu dessert, drizzled with chocolate syrup and fresh Whipped marscapone cream - perfectly chilled - stole the show, accompanied by a nice mug of coffee with free refills. Besides the value here (take 10% off your 1st loyalty member order) I appreciated the wonderful Italian tunes playing in the background, which really put a smile on my face, accentuating a perfect experience. I intend to visit regularly and appreciate it was treated like family- terrific food and the best ... service with a smile!!

I had to write a review, as this is a hidden and unexpected gem! Went for my Dad's birthday last night and every meal was excellent. Veal marsala, chicken piccata and the star of the show, Veal Osso Buco. This is not normally the type of restaurant that serves it or I would even order it, but it was perfect. The meat fell off the bone, the sauce was silky and full of mushrooms and the serving size left enough for my lunch today. Our server was attentive and helpful, she didn't rush us and knew the menu well. The front counter staff were very welcoming upon arrival and so personable upon leaving. I highly recommend a dinner here - order the Osso Buco if they have it!

Always a good place for a Lisa's salad and a nice thin crispy slice.

I Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with a group of 10 cousins and a infant today. The food was good!! *Karen was an excellent server. She actually had our table all set and ready in the dining area for us upon entering. She definitely met ALL of our needs. Karen was pleasant, helpful, accommodating, personable and an AWESOME server as well. She didn't rush us out after completing our meals. We were able to sit and chat longer continuing to enjoy eachothers company. Thank you Karen for making this special time with cousins a wonderful experience as well as a memorable one. Was in the mood for eggplant while in toms River, found Lisa's cucina off of route 37. Ordered the early bird special and found the portions large and satisfying. I highly recommend Lisa's cucina or anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine. Post

I had the seafood combination for one with mostaccioli, it was delicious and could have been for two! There was so much seafood in it, I’m not sure it was a pasta dish!! Great food and amazing service, thank you!

We came into town on business, and after a 12 hr travel day, the last thing we wanted was canned fare from a chain. Lisa's was recommended by hotel staff, and it was great! 2 of the 3 of us have eaten plenty of Jersey and Pa food, and this was really good! From the greating when we arrived, the awesome waitress with a ton of patience, and the food, this was a great experience! Great job, Y'all!!

Great individual pizzas, we had their special which was veal ,fell off the bone delicious.
